What is Blessing's connection to Bellingham's local real estate market,
and who is West Coast Dwellings?
 

As many of you know, Blessings Salon Spa was founded 26 years ago by the husband and wife team of Wayne and Aryon Kwiatkowski. Aryon is the talent behind Blessings with over 30 years connected to Aveda, and 35 years in the Salon Industry. Her husband Wayne spent over 33 years in the Financial Planning Business, mainly working in the tech industry, then finally transitioning from a Certified Financial Planner, with his decades of Real Estate knowledge, into a real estate broker with Coldwell Banker Bain here in Bellingham.

Seven years ago, his son Max, a Sehome HS grad, who also went to college in Hawaii, joined his dad in the real estate industry after working with United Airlines in the Washington DC area, and in Portland Oregon at the historic Benson Hotel. If he is not in town, you may find hime up at the Mt Baker Ski area, coaching with the Special Olympics Ski Team, or boating with his wife, Matia, in the San Juan Islands.

Matia, a Western Washington University Graduate, who was born on Orcas Island, and raised between there, San Juan Island, Anacortes, and Mendocino California. In August of this year, she was wedded to Max on the 100 year old Zodiac Schooner, in Pleasant Bay off of Chuckanut Drive. She joined our real estate team 3 years ago. When she is not working, you may find her volunteering at Island Haven Animal Sanctuary on San Juan Island, which her mom, Julie Duke, was one of the founding board members.

With their real estate team named West Coast Dwellings​, they have a little know fact about their mission, they give back to their local communities by donating 10% of their commission from buyers and sellers to local non-profits that benefit our area. In fact, over the last six years, they have given over $300,000.00 to the Whatcom Hospice Foundation, the Whatcom and Skagit Humane Society, Planned Parenthood of Whatcom County, our Peace Health Cancer Center, Seattle-Alaska Make a Wish Foundation, our local Food Bank, Dominik's Closet, Faces Northwest, and many more.
